Sailing club

Lindisfarne Sailing Club was a family-based sailing club on the River Derwent eastern shore in Lindisfarne, TAS. It ran dinghy and keelboat activities, Sunday dinghy racing and learn-to-sail sessions (including a SailPass temporary membership option) and made club boats available for hire on Sunday mornings. In December 2025 the club members decided to permanently close Lindisfarne Sailing Club and merge sailing activities with Bellerive Yacht Club; the club website is being maintained during the transition but will be shut down once information has been transferred.

Marina service

Motor Yacht Club of Tasmania (MYCT) is a waterfront yacht club and marina at Lindisfarne on the River Derwent near Hobart. The club operates a floating marina with about 150 berths, offers moorings, dinghy storage, cages and hardstand facilities, and has a slipway/slips for member slipping (two slips; the larger accepts up to 15 tonnes). A fuel wharf supplies diesel and unleaded fuel (stated as available to members and non-members). The clubhouse includes dining and a function room. The site also lists on-site tenants and contractors such as boat brokers, marine services and mooring maintenance contacts.
