Sailing club

Indented Head Yacht Club (IHYC) is a community water-sports club based on Indented Head beach, Victoria. The club runs year‑round sailing and swimming activities for beginners through experienced sailors, including on-the-water classes such as ILCA, Tasar, Sabre, Impulse and Optimist. IHYC operates Learn2Sail programs for children and adults, hosts events including the annual Wreck2Reef open‑water swim and the Sail Bellarine regatta, and supports a regular local swim group (Salty B!tches). Club facilities and operations described on the website include a clubhouse with changerooms and showers, boat storage and a rigging area with vehicle/trailer access and parking; the club manages community guidelines, leases/licenses for the clubhouse/rigging area, and organises volunteer training and event approvals.
