Canberra Ocean Racing Club (CORC) is a yacht-owning sailing club founded in 1979 and based in the inland city of Canberra, ACT. The club’s purpose is to enable members—mainly from Canberra and adjacent regions—to undertake coastal and offshore racing and cruising. CORC owns a yacht named Namadgi 3 (a Bavaria 46 Cruiser) with a stated home base in the Sydney Harbour / Pittwater region. The club describes itself as suited to people who lack time or funds to maintain their own yacht and as a way for sailors to gain practical experience before acquiring a yacht.
