Sailing club

Ballarat Yacht Club is a family-oriented sailing club based on the southern foreshore of Lake Wendouree in Ballarat, Victoria. The club runs an organised sailing season (October–May, with a winter series), hosts racing and events, offers junior and Learn to Sail programs (including Tackers and youth coaching), and maintains a clubhouse with social facilities. The club web pages also reference jetties, moorings/pens and a boatyard/storage and note volunteer-led improvements to club facilities and infrastructure.
