Lauderdale Yacht Club at a glance

Lauderdale Yacht Club is a community sailing club on Frederick Henry Bay (Roches Beach area), about 20 minutes south‑east of Hobart, TAS. The club sails catamarans and off‑the‑beach dinghies, runs regular racing (most Sunday afternoons in the warmer months) and hosts state and national regattas. It provides sail training for youth and adults and maintains fleets of Bic O'pen skiffs, Sabots, Puffin Pacers and Lasers; it also organises racing for 29ers, catamarans, windsurfers and other off‑the‑beach classes. The club is affiliated with Australian Sailing.
